You might have participated in wedding ceremonies of village and in village marriages groom and bride act differently as compare to modern cities. People in village are recognized for their hospitality, simplicity, courteous and interesting traditional values. Apart from these qualities, you see very hilarious acts of villagers on few occasions and wedding ceremony is one of them.
The arrival of Barat, the happiness of groom’s family members and relatives, the reception of Barat and the attitude from the side of bride; all very interesting and worth watching. At times you may see few hilarious acts of groom and his friends when the Barat reaches to the door of bride’s home.
However, you might have never seen such Barat where groom and bride going together towards marriage hall. It was rare, strange and hilarious to watch bride and groom travelling on donkey instead of any cart or car. The groom was pushing the donkey while his friends and relatives were dancing around him.
The Barat was one of its unique kinds and no one had ever done this before in the village. The first funny thing of the Barat was bride travelling with groom instead of waiting for its arrival. The second and the most funny part of it was the donkey which seemed the only transportation and third was the hilarious dance of friends and relatives.
Apparently things were going smoothly for all the participants of Barat including bride and groom. Before reaching to marriage hall the groom requested to see the face of bride covered or hidden in traditional wedding dress. The bride turned down his request but the groom kept insisting on it during traveling.
On the middle of the way the bride gave permission to groom to watch her face. He looked very emotional on getting permission and when the groom watched her face, he got current of thousand voltages. The groom was shocked to see bride’s face and ran away from the place. The participants chased the groom to bring him back. It was very hilarious act of groom who made this wedding ceremony the funniest one.
