Reham Khan, a renowned British Pakistani female journalist and brilliant anchor person denied rumors about her marriage with PTI Chairman Imran Khan. She gave shut call to media houses and one of the senior journalists on spreading such false news regarding her marriage. In previous two weeks, few renowned media houses along with senior journalists spread the news of Reham Khan marrying with Imran Khan on 7th of Muharram.
In an interview on Capital TV, Reham Khan categorically denied it and bashed the senior journalist who tried to damage her repute. She also criticized the pathetic phenomena of character assassination of public figures from media houses in Pakistan.
She called it the childish behavior of media channels and advised them to be reasonable on news reporting. She was quite depressed for being in headlines of news channels regarding her personality.
Besides the denial of Reham Khan, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has also denied rumors about marrying Reham Khan earlier and called it total stupidity from the part of senior journalist Arif Nizami.
Arif Nizami is thought to be very responsible journalist and he was the first person who came up with this news but in coming days he couldn’t provide enough proofs of Imran Khan marriage.
PTI Chairman immediately denied the rumors once it was come on news channels but Reham Khan kept silence for two weeks which created doubt in people’s mind. She was of the view that the rumors would die itself after few days but it was not the case and she has to make a strong statement on it.
Both Imran Khan and Reham Khan are thinking seriously to send him notice on damaging their repute in public. They have warned Arif Nizami earlier to take back his statement and ask pardon publicly or else he has to face legal action. Both public personalities have also given shut call to few media houses who are still targeting their characters and warned them not to cross the limits.
