Hadith of Sahih Al-Bukhari, The book of Softening of the Hearts, Hadith: 6446.
عن أَبي هريرة - رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ :"لَيْسَ الغِنَى عَن كَثرَةِ العَرَض، وَلكِنَّ الغِنَى غِنَى النَّفْسِ."
Narrated Abu Hurairah (RA) the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Riches does not mean having a great amount of property, but riches is self-contentment.”
سیدنا ابوہریرہ (رضی اللہ عنہ ) سے روایت ہے، نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) نے فرمایا: ’’تونگری یہ نہیں ہے کہ سامان زیادہ ہو، بلکہ امیری یہ ہے کہ دل غنی ہو۔‘‘
