Senior anchor Mubashar Lucman paid a special tribute to martyred students of Peshawar massacre in his program Khara Sach. He along with the management of channel stood in the studio and played National Anthem for respect of all the martyred students who lost their lives on the morning of 16th December in an attack on Army Public School.
The death of over 130 innocent students in Peshawar massacre put the whole nation into swerve pain and since that day the country has been mourning them.
This is the first ever incident which happened in Pakistan after ten years of fight against extremism in which innocent children are victimized. The pain of Peshawar tragedy not only felt by the victim families, the people from all around the world also felt it.
Almost all the governments of the world convey condolence messages to the victim families. Along with grief of this tragedy, it brought anger in every person of Pakistan and forced the government to avenge it. Pakistan Army already began the revenge by striking the hide outs of extremists in tribal areas which are near to Afghan border.
Apart from the condolences and revenge, it looks like the grief of the Peshawar massacre grabbed the nation to its heights and no one wants to forget the sacrifice of Martyred students. Therefore, the civil society gathers in every city in evening to pay tribute to the students.
By lighting the candles, putting flowers, praying for the peace of their souls and reciting verses of Holy Quran are the main purposes of these gathering. It is not just civil society who is paying tribute to the students of Army Public school on sacrificing their lives; all the media channels of Pakistan are also paying tributes every day in very news bulletin.
