BUENOS AIRES, Argentina: Fossilised remains of a long-necked, long-tailed sauropod creature upto approximately 95 million years ago, which is being called Titanosaur, has been discovered by palaeontologists in Argentina.

Argentinean expects found the remains of the amazing giant creature in Patagonia, located at the southern end of South America, shared by Argentina and Chile.

Titanosaur could be the largest ever dinosaur found on the earth, having four legs and expectedly lived during the Cretaceous Period, while it weighed around 100 tons, Fox News reported.

Titanosaur’s weigh is also said to be equivalent of more than 14 African elephants, whereas, the giant creature is being categorised into Apatosaurus or Brachiosaurus due to its four legs.
Jose Luis Carballido, a paleontologist at the Egidio Feruglio Museum in Trelew, Argentina, said “This is a true paleontological treasure.” He added “There are many remains and they were practically intact, something that does not frequently happen.”
