RIYADH, Saudi Arabia: An extra tooth has been diagnosed inside nose of a Saudi Arabian man who complained for nosebleeds.
The 22-year-old man, who was suffering from nosebleeds once or twice a month for around three years, has consulted doctors for thorough diagnostics of his disease.
The doctors found white bone-like mass measuring around half an inch in length was discovered in his nostril, Emirates247 reported.
The case was forwarded to dentists who subsequently confirmed the bone as tooth and termed it a medical case of ‘Hyperdontia’ disease which causes teeth to grow in areas other than the mouth.
However, the extra tooth has been removed from the nose while the Saudi man stopped suffering nosebleeds after being treated for three months under general anaesthetic
