ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has invited PTI chairman Imran
Khan for a joint visit to camp of displaced persons of North
Waziristan, however Khan has rejected the offer.
Sources, told that Khan had refused to accompany the PM in IDPs camp owing to his concerns that KP government was not consulted before launching of military offensive in Waziristan areas.
Khan said even the prime minister did not release funds for IDPs that were demanded by the KP government.
PTI leader Imran Ismail told that the move by PM Nawaz to take Imran Khan along during his visit to operation-hit areas was a political one. He said such a move might be aimed towards reconciliation.
He said joint visits could be arranged at any time, however, need of the time is to eradicate problems facing the IDPs of North Waziristan.
