Hadith about Fortune tellers and Horoscope, read in English, Urdu, and Arabic. Hadith of Sahih Muslim, the Book of Salam (Greeting), Hadith: 5813.
It was narrated that Muawiyah bin Al-Hakam As-Sulami said: “I said: ‘O Messenger of Allah (pbuh) there are some things that we used to do during Jahiliyyah (prior to accepting Islam). We used to go to soothsayers.’ He (pbuh) said: ‘Do not go to soothsayers.’ I said: ‘We used to follow Tiyarah.’ He (pbuh) said: ‘That is something that one of you feels in his heart. He should not let it prevent him from doing something.’ ”

Avoid watching tv programs that invite people who r fortune tellers.
They may be card readers all r prohibited.
Only Allah (swt) knows the future. Some fortune tellers make deals with evil jinn who tell them about the person's past so the person thinks the fortune teller has powers since they know things about the person. The jinn then makes up things for the fortune teller to say about the person's future.
عن معاوية بن الحکم السلمي قال قلت يا رسول الله أمورا کنا نصنعها في الجاهلية کنا نأتي الکهان قال فلا تأتوا الکهان قال قلت کنا نتطير قال ذاک شي يجده أحدکم في نفسه فلا يصدنکم
حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ بن حکم سلمی سے روایت ہے کہ میں نے عرض کیا اے اللہ کے رسول صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ایسی بہت ساری باتیں ہیں جنہیں ہم زمانہ جاہلیت میں سر انجام دیتے تھے ہم کاہنوں کے پاس جاتے تھے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تم کاہنوں کے پاس مت جاؤ میں نے عرض کیا ہم بدفالی لیا کرتے تھے آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا یہ وہ چیز ہے جسے تم میں سے کوئی اپنے دل میں محسوس کرتا ہے یہ خیال آنا تمہیں کسی کام سے نہ روکے۔
