Hadith of Ibn Majah, Chapter on Divorce, Hadith: 2045.
It was narrated from Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “Allah has forgiven my nation for mistakes and forgetfulness and what they are forced to do.”

عن ابن عباس عن النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم قال إن الله وضع عن أمتي الخطأ والنسيان وما استکرهوا عليه
حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے میری امت کی بھول چوک اور مجبوری محض سے درگذر فرمائی ہے۔
