Al-Quran, Surah Ar-Rum 30, Verse 41, Part 21
Evil (corruption, sins and disobedience of Allah, etc.) has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned (by oppression and evil deeds, etc.), that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon).
ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُمْ بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ
خشکی اور تری میں لوگوں کی بد اعمالیوں کے باعث فساد پھیل گیا۔ اس لئے کہ انھیں ان کے بعض کرتوتوں کا پھل اللہ تعالیٰ چکھا دے (بہت) ممکن ہے کہ وہ باز آجائیں۔
Baher o Bar main Fasaad pahal gaya, jis ki waja logon k apnay kamaay hoay aamal han.
