Increase in Salaries and Expectation of Government Employees.

ISLAMABAD: The government has declared an increase in the next fiscal year’s budgets of president, prime minister and cabinet division secretaries despite of crippling economic conditions of the country.
The following budget was presented on Friday by the Budget Priorities Committee proposing an 11% increase (Rs684 million) in the president’s budget and 15% increase (Rs105.2 million) in the prime minister’s budget for the fiscal year 2013-14. The proposed increases are higher than the targeted inflation rate of 9% for the next year.
